Gunnera is uncovered and daffs start

Yesterday the Gunnera was uncovered.  The leaves we used to protect the plant from the bad weather and heavy frosts of the winter have done their job and 7 barrow loads, 3 gorilla buckets and 2 ikea bags-full of leaves have been removed and put to compost. The Gunnera is on its own now and it won't be too long before we see it shooting.
Notice too, that the daffs have started blooming on the hump.
